Men's Soccer Falls At Southern Indiana 1-0
(9/5/2008) M Soccer Timberwolves travel to Oakland City SundayThe Northwood University men's soccer dropped a 1-0 contest at Southern Indiana Friday night (September 5).
Northwood falls to 0-3 with the loss, while SIU improves to 2-1 with the win.
The Timberwolves controlled play for much of the night, finishing with advantages in total shots (14-8), corner kicks (7-3) and shots on goal (5-3). But NU was unable to beat Southern Indiana keeper Andrew Haley, who finished with five saves.
The lone goal of the game came in the 71st minute when Dan Dormeier scored the game winner for the Screaming Eagles.
Northwood will travel to Oakland City Sunday (Sept. 7) for a 1:15 p.m. contest.
