MIDLAND, MICH. – Former Northwood football standout Chris Wilson will signing copies of his book "A Compass For Hope" in Midland Saturday (November 19).
Wilson will be signing copies of the book at Barnes & Noble in the Midland Mall from 1-3 p.m.
The description of the book is as follows:
"A Compass for Hope provides the bare bones ingredients for anyone to find their way to hope, no matter the situation. This compass will navigate you out of hopelessness and into your purpose and destiny. This tool can be elaborated on by any good leader to help facilitate in sharing their personal testimony."
Wilson was a four-year letterwinner at Northwood and became an All-American on the GLIAC Championship team of 2004. A three-time All-GLIAC honoree, Wilson joined the B.C. Lions of the Canadian Football League and helped the team win the Grey Cup in 2006. He then spent five seasons in the National Football League with the Washington Redskins, finishing with 77 tackles and 6.5 sacks. Wilson played in the NFL longer than anyone in Northwood history.
