Men's Soccer Picked To Finish Third In GLIAC Coaches' Poll

MIDLAND, MICH. - The Northwood University men's soccer team was picked to finish third in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Preseason Coaches' Poll, the league announced Wednesday (August 8).

Northwood finished with 26 points in the poll. Davenport was the favorite over Saginaw Valley for first place overall. Both teams had 33 points, but Davenport had four first place votes compared to three for SVSU.

After being picked to finish fourth in the preseason poll a year ago, the Timberwolves won the 2017 GLIAC Championship. The ended the year with an 11-4-3 overall record while going 9-1-2 in the GLIAC.
