MIDLAND, MICH. – The Northwood University men's soccer team placed a pair of student-athletes on the All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) team, the league announced Friday (November 1).
Stacey was a force for Northwood from the midfield this season. He started all 17 games for the Timberwolves, sharing the team lead in goals (three) while pacing the Timberwolves with seven assists. His seven assists are good for second in the GLIAC and ties him for the second most in a season in program history.
Suddon was one of Northwood's top defenders in the back this season. He appeared in 15 games this season, making 14 starts. Suddon was a key player for a Northwood defense that allowed 1.45 goals against average this season.
Northwood currently stands with an 8-8-1 overall record after going 5-6-1 in the GLIAC. NU is the No. 4 seed in the GLIAC Tournament and will take on top-seeded Saginaw Valley in the quarterfinals Friday morning (November 2) at 11 a.m.
