The 2016 campaign will be the first for Bill Sebald as an assistant coach for the Northwood University softball team.
Sebald comes to Northwood University after winning seven district titles and a state championship in seven years at Bay City Western High School. The Warriors have also made it to a pair of final fours and finished state runner-up in Sebalds time at BCW.
Sebald is the father of former Timberwolves pitcher, Maddison Sebald. Maddison graduated from Northwood in 2015 and finished her career with a 41-34 record in 63 games started. She pitched 499 innings and recorded a 3.31 ERA. Sebald pitched in 116 career games, which is second most in school history. Her 41 wins are fourth best in the Northwood record book. Sebald also registered 17 runs on 40 hits in 169 at bats as a pitcher. She finished with 23 RBI's and an OBP of .323.
Married to his wife Jill, the couple resides in Auburn and have three daughters and a son: Erin, Maddison, Mallory and Brad.
