  • The indoor track season continued over the weekend for the Northwood University Track & Field teams as the Timberwolves competed at two different venues – a group competed on the west side of the state at the Grand Valley Tune-Up as well as in the southern part of the state at the Hillsdale Tune-Up.
  • On Friday evening at Grand Valley State, Paul Evans threw 19.30m in the weight throw inching closer and closer to the school record as his toss was just 4 cm off the school record, Evans is now ranked #12 in the country in the event. The mark is also a 4 ft (1.16m) personal best.
  • For the second time in two weeks, Northwood's Tyler Jensen broke a school record, this time capturing Northwood's all-time best time in the mile by almost a second, running 4:15.68. Jensen continues to add to a decorated career at Northwood as he inks his name atop multiple events within the Northwood record book.
  • Also on Friday evening in Allendale, Jennifer McKenna improved on her previous personal best, running 2:15.81 which is still #2 in school history in the 800m run. Mckenna then made the trek to Hillsdale to compete on Saturday as she raced the 800m again at Hillsdale. Mckenna finished with a time of 2:16.84 on Hillsdale's track, which converts to 2:15.28 just 0.19 seconds off of provisionally qualifying for nationals. Compete
