The Northwood University volleyball team has earned the No. 2 seed for the upcoming NCAA Regional Tournament.
The field was announced Sunday night by the NCAA.
Northwood (26-6) is the number two seed in the region. The Timberwolves will take on seventh-seeded Ashland (23-8) in the opening round.
The winner of the NU/AU match will face the winner of the Grand Valley State/Hillsdale match in the second round.
Indianapolis earned the No. 1 seed and the right to host the regional. The Greyhounds will face Rockhurst, the eighth seed. Rockhurst just upset Indianapolis in the semifinals of the GLVC Tournament. The other opening round match in the Midwest region will feature fourth-seeded Lewis against the No. 5 seed Ferris State.
