MIDLAND, MICH. - The Northwood University volleyball team was picked to finish fifth in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC) Preseason Coaches' Poll in the North Division, the league announced Tuesday (August 6).

Northwood finished with 22 points in the poll. Ferris State was the favorite in the North Division with 61 points, followed by Michigan Tech (57). Ashland is the favorite in the South Division with 57 points

The Timberwolves will open their 2018 season at the Cedarville Invitational September 6.
