Northwood University Athletic Events This Week

MIDLAND, MICH. – This weekend, the Northwood University athletic department will host a pair of men's soccer games. NU is fighting for a GLIAC Championship, taking on top-ranked Tiffin on Friday (4 p.m.) and Findlay on Sunday (2:30 p.m.).

The Women's Tennis team will compete in the GLIAC Championships at the Midland Community Tennis Center this weekend, beginning on Friday. Women's Soccer will travel to Ohio for a contest at Tiffin on Friday at 3 p.m. and Findlay on Sunday at Noon. Volleyball is also on the road, traveling to Wayne State on Friday at 7 p.m.

The Football team will compete in the 40th Annual Axe Boal at Saginaw Valley State on Saturday. There will be an NU tailgate in Lot F, starting at 4 p.m. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. The Northwood Volleyball team is also in action at Saginaw Valley on Saturday, match is set to start at 2 p.m. The Cross Country teams will be traveling to Lake Superior State for a meet on Saturday.

  • Women's Tennis competes in GLIAC Championships at Midland Community Tennis Center - Championship Central #NUTennis

  • Women's Soccer travels to Tiffin (3:00 p.m.) #NUWSOC

Saturday, October 25:

  • Women's Tennis competes in GLIAC Championships at Midland Community Tennis Center - Championship Central #NUTennis

  • Cross Country travels to Lake Superior State - Preview #NUXC

  • Volleyball travels to Saginaw Valley (2:00 p.m.) - watch live stats #NUVB

  • Football travels to Saginaw Valley (7:00 p.m.) - watch live stats #NUFB

    • Tickets $10
    • NU Tailgate starts at 4 p.m. in Lot F
    • 40th Annual Axe Bowl
    • Helmet decals will be sold for $5 in tailgate and during first half to raise funds for cancer awareness
