RECAP: The Division 1 hockey team had two dominant wins over the weekend against Central Michigan University, with an 18-0 away win on Friday night (November 14) and a 10-0 home win on Saturday afternoon (November 15). 

GAME ONE HIGHLIGHTS  

  • The Timberwolves closed out the game with five additional goals in the third. Donald Gooley scored on the power play, followed by goals from Croston, Stenglein, Cameron Duffany, and Garber, securing an 18–0 victory. 

  • Goaltender Mason Matthew stopped all 18 shots he faced to record the shutout.

  • Northwood struck first with a goal from Leo Crawford to take a 1–0 lead. Just two minutes later, Cameron Duffany added a second, putting the Timberwolves up 2–0 in the first period. 

  • Northwood kept the momentum rolling in the third period with goals from Bedenko and Ayuyu, while Owen Croston also contributed. The Timberwolves went on to secure a dominant 10–0 victory. 

  • Goaltender Mason Matthew earned the shutout, stopping all ten shots he faced.
