  • The opener was scoreless until the bottom of the third when Ryan McClelland hit a solo home run to give Northwood the early lead.
  • NU expanded their advantage in the sixth with a pair runs. Colin McClelland had an RBI single, which was followed by a Travis Janes run-scoring double to make the score 3-0.
  • The Pride got one back in the seventh, but that proved to be the only run Tyler Jandron would allow.

  • Jandron improved to 17-2 for his two-year career at Northwood. His 17 wins are tied for second in program history, tying former teammate Alex Lewandowski. Jandron is one win behind all-time leader Trent Mulder (18). Current NU pitcher Ian Dimitrie stands with 16 wins for his career.


  • Purdue Northwest had three hits in the top of the first inning, plating a run to go up 1-0.
  • The Timberwolves responded with two runs in the second inning with a pair: Vinsky had an RBI single, while C. McClelland walked with the bases loaded to make it 2-1.
