Baseball Earns Team Academic Excellence Award From The ABCA

MIDLAND, MICH. - The Northwood University baseball team has earned the Team Academic Excellence Award from the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA).

Teams from every level of college and high school baseball were honored with this year's award, which highlights programs coached by ABCA members that posted a GPA of 3.0 or above on a 4.0 scale for the entire 2020-21 academic year.

Northwood finished the year with a 3.267 GPA among their 58 student-athletes.

The Timberwolves also had a great year on the field, finishing 29-17 overall and reached the semifinals of the NCAA Midwest Regional tournament.
