Baseball Ranked Fourth In NCBWA Preseason Poll - Rhett Evans Named All-Region

NCBWA Midwest Region Preseason Poll/Team

MIDLAND, MICH. – The Northwood University baseball team is ranked fourth in the National College Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) Preseason Poll.

Northwood finished with 55 points. Trevecca Nazarene is ranked first, finishing with 78 points and six first-place votes. Davenport was second at 73 points (two first place votes) while Illinois Springfield was third with 64 points.

In addition, the NCBWA released their Preseason All-Region teams. Junior second baseman Rhett Evans represents Northwood on the list.

The Timberwolves are coming off a 29-17 season in 2021, including an 18-10 GLIAC record and semifinal finish at the 2021 NCAA Midwest Regional.
