  • Florida Southern set the tone for the game in the bottom of the first, scoring five runs for the early lead.
  • The Mocs extended their advantage in the bottom of the fourth with a pair of runs.

  • Northwood opened the scoring in the top of the second on an error by the Mocs to go up 1-0.
  • Florida Southern Responded right away on a solo home run to tie the score.
  • FSC added one in the third, one in the fourth and two in the sixth to go up 5-1.
  • The Timberwolves got going in the eighth and put one on the board thanks to a Getz RBI single to get Northwood within three.
  • With two outs in the top of the ninth, senior Caden Duryea came through for Northwood. His three-run home run tied the score 5-5.
  • The score remained tied all the way until the 13th inning. The Mocs went single/stolen base/wild pitch to put a runner on third with one out. An RBI single gave the FSC the victory.
