RECAP: Northwood baseball goes 1-1 at Hillsdale Friday (April 3), with the Timberwolves taking game one 8-4 and the Chargers winning game two 7-1.

GAME ONE HIGHLIGHTS (NINE INNINGS)

• Northwood got off to a fast start in the game, getting on the board first on a bases loaded walk by Caden Duryea in the top of the first.
• Connor McCartan followed with a two-run single to give the Timberwolves a 3-0 lead.
• McCartan made it 4-0 in the third with another RBI single.
• Bobby Griffon extended the lead with an RBI double to get the lead up to 5-0.
• Northwood got another run in the top of the sixth on an RBI single from Brennan Hallman.
• Hillsdale fought back late in the game, bringing home one in the seventh and three in the eighth to get within two at 6-4.

• The games were originally scheduled to be played at Northwood, but poor field conditions following the storms that came through Midland this week forced the doubleheader to be moved to Hillsdale.
