After competing in a season primarily held online, Northwood advanced to the grand finals to face Winthrop University in a live, in-person matchup hosted at Full Sail University. The team's strong performance throughout the season led to a runner-up finish, further solidifying Northwood's reputation as a top contender in collegiate Overwatch.

With momentum on their side, Northwood now turns its attention to the Collegiate Esports Commissioners Cup (CECC). On Thursday, April 30, the varsity Overwatch team will travel to Waco, Texas to compete against some of the best collegiate programs in the nation.

The CECC provides another opportunity for Northwood to prove itself on a national stage, as the team looks to build on its recent success and compete for a championship title.
