INSIDE THE GAME

  • After scoring only one touchdown last week on their final drive of the game against Ashland, Northwood came out strong on the opening drive of the game. The Timberwolves went 75 yards in 12 plays, covering 5:31. Trent Hill finished the possession off with a one-yard touchdown run.
  • The Timberwolves used a pair of big plays on their third drive of the game to expand their lead. Taking over on their own 40, Northwood's Devin Brown took the opening play 29 yards on the ground. Ethan Hamby then found Case Boos for a 31-yard touchdown on the second play of the possession to make the score 14-0.
  • Neither team scored in the second quarter, sending the game to the break with NU on top 14-0.
  • Ohio Dominican got on the board on their opening possession of the third quarter, connecting on a field goal to get within 11 at 14-3.
  • Northwood responded right away, once again using a big play to find the end zone for the third time in the game. Hamby once again found Boos, this time from 35 yards out to make the score 21-3 with 8:23 remaining in the third.
  • NU rounded out the scoring around the midway point of the final quarter. The Hamby-Boos combination struck for the third time in the game, scoring a touchdown from three-yards out to make the final 28-3.
