Former Football Standout Stephen Douglas Signs With CFL's Hamilton Tiger-Cats
MIDLAND, MICH. – Stephen Douglas, a former standout for the Northwood Football team, has signed as a free agent with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats of the Canadian Football League.
After playing his first two seasons at Albion College, Douglas finished his career at Northwood as a starting safety. In his first season as a Timberwolf, Douglas finished with 78 tackles and a pair of interceptions. Injuries limited him to five games in his final season, registering 25 tackles.
The last Northwood player to compete in the CFL was former standout Charleston Hughes, who played for four different teams from 2008-2022.
