Men's Basketball Loses To Lake Superior State 76-69

RECAP: Men's basketball drops 76-69 contest against Lake Superior State Saturday (November 9).  

GAME STORY

• Northwood started the game strong, opening the contest with the first seven points.
• A 10-0 run for the Lakers put LSSU on top 14-11 with under 13 minutes remaining in the opening half.
• Lake State led 25-24 with under five minutes to go before the Lakers posted 15 of the final 21 points to send the game to the brake with LSSU on top 40-30.
• The lead grew to 17 early in the second half, which proved to be the biggest lead of the night of for Lake Superior State.
• LSSU led 67-50 at the 6:42 mark when Northwood started to chip away at the advantage.  NU posted 11 of the next 15 points to get within to at 71-61 with 3:11 remaining.
• NU had a chance in the final 15 seconds to get within four but were unsuccessful, giving the Lakers the victory.
