• The Cardinals led 20-14 when SVSU nine of the next 11 points to push their lead to 29-16.
• Northwood trailed 34-20 when the Timberwolves fought back, scoring 13 of the next 17 points to get within five at 38-33.
• That is when the key stretch of the game began, as SVSU scored seven of the final eight points to take a 45-34 lead at the break.
• SV kept the momentum going early in the second half, putting up 24 of the first 32 points in the second half to make the score 69-42 with 12:09 remaining.
• The Cardinals led by as many as 39 before winning 26.
