• The opening 20 minutes proved to be extremely tight throughout. Northwood held the first two-possession lead of the game at 12-8.
• NU led 30-26 when the Dragons went on their first run of the game. Tiffin scored 10 of the next 12 points to take their largest lead of the half at 36-32.
• TU eventually held at 39-38 lead at the break.
• Northwood scored the first points of the second half to go on top 40-39, but that proved to be the last lead of the night for the Timberwolves.
• The Tiffin lead stood at 56-52 with 9:34 remaining when the Dragons scored eight straight points to go up 64-52.
• NU cut the lead to 66-61 with 5:24 remaining, only to see Tiffin score nine of the next 10 points to put the game away.
