• Northwood got off to a good start in the game, opening the contest on an 11-2 run.
• Great Lakes Christian started to play better at that point, eventually fighting back to tie the score at 23-23.
• At the under eight media timeout of the first half, the score was tied 27-27 when Northwood took over.
• Over the final 6:51 of the first half, the Timberwolves pushed their lead to as many as 18, eventually finishing the period on a 22-7 run to open up a 49-34 lead at the break.
