Men's Golf Opens Season With Fourth Place Finish At GLIAC North

RECAP: Northwood opens the 2018-19 season with a fourth-place finish at the GLIAC North Invitational Saturday-Sunday (September 15-16).

INSIDE THE EVENT

• Northwood carded team rounds of 300-301 to finish with a team score of 601.
• Grand Valley State was the overall winner at 577 (288-289), followed by Ferris State at 579 (282-297) and Saginaw Valley at 589 (288-301)
• A total of eight teams took part in the event.

• Jagger Richard: 72-74=146 – eighth overall
• Austin Deiters: 75-75=150 – tied for 16th
• Riley Olsen: 75-76=151 – tied for 20th
• A total of 49 players competed in the tournament
