Men's Golf Competes At Ken Partridge Invitational
OVERVIEW – KEN PARTRIDGE INVITATIONAL
LOCATION: Purgatory Golf Club – Noblesville, Ind. (Par 72 – 7,062 yards)
RECAP: Northwood men's golf tied for eleventh at the Ken Partridge Invitational Monday-Tuesday (April 5-6).
INSIDE THE EVENT
- Due to weather concerns, the tournament saw teams play 27 holes each of the two days of the event. It was originally scheduled for 18 holes over three days.
- Through the first 18 holes, Northwood got off to a good start, standing in second place with a score of 295.
- NU followed with a second-round total of 293, which put them in third place going to the final round.
- The final 18 holes were a struggle for the Timberwolves, however, as their final-round score of 312 pushed Northwood all the way back to a tie for 11th at 900 overall.
- No. 3 Grand Valley State was the overall winner at 863 (283-299-292), followed by Ferris State (298-285-299) and Rockhurst (300-292-290) at 882 each.
- A total of 18 teams took part in the event.
TOP NU PERFORMERS
- Kosuke Tojo: 69-72-77=218 – tied for fifth place overall
- Rykert Frisinger: 79-70-77=226 – tied for 38th
- Collin Urbas: 79-74-75=228 – tied for 20th
- A total of 111 players competed in the tournament

- Northwood will compete at the G-MAC Championship April 20-22.
