Men's Lacrosse's Andrew Rogers Earns Second USILA Division II Team of the Week Honor
MIDLAND, MICH. – Northwood University men's lacrosse standout Andrew Rogers has been named to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Division II Team of the Week, the organization announced on Wednesday (April 1).
Andrew Rogers led Northwood to a 2-0 week last in G-MAC play, totaling 16 points on nine goals and seven assists. He recorded four goals and three assists in a win over Wheeling (March 26) before erupting for 11 points (5 goals and 6 assists) in a 25-10 victory at Point Park (March 27). Rogers accounted for over 35% of Northwood's offense on the week while adding seven ground balls. His performance helped the Timberwolves remain unbeaten in conference play at 5-0.
Rogers was one of 10 players selected nationwide to the USILA Team of the Week after posting one of the top offensive performances in Division II during the week.
The Timberwolves return home tonight as they continue conference play versus Lake Erie Wednesday night (April 1) under the lights at Dean Field at 6 p.m.
