Tognetti Captures Men's Lacrosse's G-MAC Offensive Player Of The Week

MIDLAND, MICH. – Northwood University men's lacrosse player MacKennan Tognetti has been named the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) Offensive Athlete of the Week on Monday (April 20).

Tognetti delivered an eight-point performance in Northwood's 28-7 conference win over Davis & Elkins Saturday (April 18), leading the team with five goals and three assists.

This marks the third weekly honor for a Northwood Men's Lacrosse athlete this season.

Men's Lacrosse (10-3, 8-1 G-MAC) finishes off the conference regular season slate at home Tuesday (April 21) in a pivotal conference match-up with current Davenport (9-5, 8-1 G-MAC). Northwood and Davenport currently sit tied for second in the conference race. The winner of the conference finale will earn a first-round bye for the G-MAC Tournament.
