Rogers Becomes First USILA All-Region Honoree Since Reestablishment
FULL LIST OF USILA ALL-REGION HONOREES
MIDLAND, MICH. - Sophomore midfielder Andrew Rogers of the Northwood University men's lacrosse team has been named Third Team All-North Region by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA), the organization announced Tuesday (May 19). Rogers becomes the first player to earn All-Region honors since the program's reestablishment.
Rogers earned Third Team recognition as a midfielder after a big sophomore campaign in which he appeared in 15 games with 14 starts. He led the Timberwolves offensively with 48 goals and 34 assists for 82 total points while adding 39 ground balls. Rogers also fired 145 shots during the season, placing 92 on goal for a .634 shots-on-goal percentage.
His 82 points shattered the Northwood single-season scoring record previously held by John Cooper (72), the only USILA All-American in program history. The Lowell, Mich. native emerged as one of the premier all-around midfielders in the G-MAC, earning G-MAC Offensive Player of the Year honors while helping lead the Timberwolves to the most successful season in program history.
The USILA All-Region teams are voted on by coaches throughout each region and recognize the top players across NCAA Division II men's lacrosse. Rogers was one of four midfielders selected to the Third Team in the North Region.
Northwood finished 2026 with a program-best 11 wins, boasting an 11-4 mark overall and a 9-1 mark in the G-MAC.
