Men's Soccer Finishes Regular Season With 3-0 Loss At Findlay

The Northwood University men's soccer team dropped a 3-0 contest at Findlay Sunday afternoon (October 28).

Northwood finishes the regular season 9-6-1 overall, 8-5 in the GLIAC.  Findlay stands at 6-9-1 overall, 3-9-1 in the GLIAC.

The Oilers got on the board in the 27th minute with a goal that proved to be the lone tally of the first half.   Neither team mustered many chances in the opening 45 minutes – Findlay held a 6-3 edge in shots overall if the first half.

Northwood generated 13 second half shots to seven for Findlay, but the Oilers found the back of the net twice to earn the win.  Findlay scored just 16 seconds into the second half and then in the 84th minute to claim the win.

For the match, Northwood finished with a 16-13 advantage in shots and a 5-3 edge in corner kicks.

Northwood will host an opening round GLIAC Tournament Match Tuesday (October 30) at 2 p.m. at Dean Field.
