Men's Soccer Earns No. 2 Seed In Upcoming NCAA Tournament

MIDLAND, MICH. - The Northwood University men's soccer team has earned the No. 2 seed for the upcoming NCAA Regional Tournament.
The field was announced Monday night by the NCAA.
Northwood (14-3-1) is the number two seed in the region. The Timberwolves will have home field advantage, taking on third-seeded Saginaw Valley (13-4-1) in the opening round on Sunday (November 16). This will be the third meeting between these two teams in 17 days. Northwood has come out ahead in the last two meetings, 2-1 and 1-0 to win the GLIAC Tournament on Sunday (November 9).
Quincy earned the No. 1 seed and the right to host the regional play-in match. The Hawks will face winner of No. 4 Drury and No. 5 Tiffin. The winner of the NU/SVSU match will face the winner of the Quincy vs. Drury/Tiffin match in the second round.
