Men's Soccer Places Pair On All-GLIAC Teams
MIDLAND, MICH. – The Northwood University men's soccer team placed two on the All-Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC), the league announced Saturday (November 13).
Junior midfielder Ryan Dobson was placed on the Second Team, while senior forward Charlie Evans was named Honorable Mention.
Dobson was one of Northwood's top defensive players this season, starting all 18 games for the Timberwolves. A captain for Timberwolves, the Liverpool, England native has now made 40 starts in his three-year career for Northwood.
Evans also served as a captain for the Timberwolves this season. He led the team with six goals, which ranked him 11th in the GLIAC. He converted all three of his penalty attempts on the year. For his career, Evans has nine goals and three assists in 56 games.
