Northwood Men's Soccer To Host Youth Camp, ID Camp In The Coming Weeks

MIDLAND, MICH. – Northwood men's soccer program is set to host multiple summer camps this month. Starting with Northwood Men's Soccer and Freddie Academy Michigan hosting a daily Youth Soccer Camp June 15-18 at Dean Field, followed by the Northwood Men's Soccer's High School Summer ID Camp on June 19.

The Youth Soccer Camp will run from 5-7 p.m. each day and is open to players ages 8-16 of all skill levels. Participants will receive instruction from Northwood coaches and Freddie Academy Michigan trainers through technical training sessions, skill-development activities, and small-sided games.

The Freddie Academy Michigan is a proud extension of Freddie Academy Sweden, bringing a modern, international approach to player development. The academy emphasizes enhancing each player's individual qualities through technical training, decision-making, and a player-centered development model.

The Summer ID Camp is designed for high school players interested in competing at the collegiate level. Participants will train in a college environment, work directly with the Northwood coaching staff, and be evaluated through technical sessions, tactical training, and match play. The camp will also serve as the first ID Camp under new head coach Steve Bushre.
