Northwood Men's Soccer Announces 2026 Schedule
MIDLAND, MICH. – The Northwood University men's soccer team and head coach Steve Bushre have announced the program's 2026 schedule, featuring 17 regular-season contests, including nine home matches at Dean Field and 14 Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) games.
The Timberwolves open the season at home on August 27 against Northern Michigan, then conclude their opening week with a road matchup at Purdue Northwest on August 30.
Northwood returns home September 3 to host Davenport before beginning conference play September 8 at Findlay.
The Timberwolves' home conference slate includes matchups against Walsh (September 12), Ashland (September 19), Tiffin (October 1), Thomas More (October 3), Kentucky Wesleyan (October 15), Cedarville (October 17), and Findlay (October 27).
"Our expectation for this first season is simple: we will compete with intensity and purpose in every single game," said Bushre. "Fans and supporters should look forward to a hungry, united team powered by several key returning players and a strong incoming class, as we build upon Northwood's proud history of success and set a new standard moving forward."
Road conference contests feature trips to Cedarville (September 24), Tiffin (September 26), Ashland (October 8), Ohio Dominican (October 10), Lake Erie (October 22), and Malone (October 24).
The regular season concludes on October 27 when the Timberwolves host Findlay at Dean Field.
Northwood enters the 2026 campaign under first-year head coach Steve Bushre, who will lead the program into a new chapter of Northwood men's soccer.
