Men's Tennis Opens Season With 8-1 Win Over Lake Superior State

The Northwood University men's tennis team opened the season with an 8-1 road win over Lake Superior State Saturday afternoon (February 2).

Lake Superior State falls to 0-3 overall, 0-3 in the GLIAC with the loss.

Northwood opened the match by sweeping the double three doubles matches, which included 9-7 wins at both the No. 2 and No. 3 positions.    The Timberwolves then went on to post wins at the top five singles positions to earn the overall win.

Jean Menard, Florian Boggia, Marcus Oliveira, Lorenzo Montegiorgi and Victor Kasak each earned two wins for the Timberwolves.

Northwood will travel to Ohio Dominican next Sunday (February 10).  Match time is set for 9 a.m.
