Men's Tennis Loses 6-3 At Florida Southern
The Northwood University men's tennis team dropped a 6-3 match at Florida Southern Saturday (March 17).
The Timberwolves are now 5-3 overall with the loss. Florida Southern stands at 7-6.
The highlight of the day for the Timberwolves came in doubles, where the team of Lorenzo Montegiorgi and Marcus Oliveira earned an 8-6 win over the No. 7 ranked team in the country in Emanuel Lueber and Benoit Paradis. FSC earned wins at the No. 2 and 3 positions to take a 2-1 lead into singles.
Oliveira and Montegiorgi also earned the Timberwolves two wins in singles. Oliveira's win was over Lueber, who is ranked 34th nationally in singles.
Northwood will take on Lynn Sunday (March 17). Match time is set for 2 p.m.
