Men's Tennis Defeats Ohio Dominican 7-2

The Northwood University men's tennis team improved to 2-0 on the season with a 7-2 win over Ohio Dominican Saturday afternoon (March 1) at the New Albany Tennis Center.

The Pioneers fall to 3-3 with the loss, 1-2 in the GLIAC.

The Timberwolves came out strong in doubles, winning the first two matches while dropping the final 9-8. NU then went on to take the top five singles matches as well. At the No. 4 spot Konstantin Zhukov (Kazan, Russia) did not lose a single game. Lorenzo Montegiorgi (Velletri, Italy) lost just two games at the No. 2 spot, winning 6-2, 6-0.

Northwood will travel to Tiffin Sunday (March 2). Match time is set for 10 a.m.
