Men's Tennis Drops Match At No. 4 Lynn 7-2

The Northwood University men's tennis team was defeated 7-2 at No. 4 Lynn University Sunday afternoon (March 9).

Northwood is now 2-2 overall, 1-1 in the GLIAC. Lynn improves to 10-0 overall.

Jean Menard (Amboise, France) and Lorenzo Montegiorgi (Velletri, Italy) won the No. 1 doubles match 8-6. The Fighting Knights took the No. 2 and No. 3 doubles matches to lead 2-1 heading into singles. Lynn then earned straight-set wins at the No. 2 through No. 6 positions to earn the overall victory. Menard finished the match defeating #17 Vlad Cirla at the top singles spot 6-2, 7-6 (10-5).

Northwood returns to action March 11 in Tampa, Fla. NU will play Currie at 12 p.m.
