Men's Tennis Tops Curry 9-0
The Northwood University men's tennis team improved to 3-2 on the season with a 9-0 win over Currie College Tuesday afternoon (March 11) in Tampa Fla.
The Colonels fall to 0-2 with the loss.
The Timberwolves came out strong in doubles, winning all three doubles competition without dropping a single set. In singles, Konstantin Zhukov (Kazan, Russia), Felipe Crema Bastistella (São José dos Campos, Brazil), Samual Walendowsky (Kazan, Russia) and Pau Martin-Sole (Barcelona, Spain) each defeated their competitors 6-0, 6-0 in the No. 2, 4, 5 and 6 spots respectively.
Northwood will travel to Palm Beach Atlantic Wednesday (March 12). Match time is set for 4 p.m.
