Men's Tennis Picks Up 7-2 Win At Florida Southern
LAKELAND, FLA. – The No. 25 Northwood University men's tennis team improved to 6-0 on the year with a 7-2 road win over No. 32 Florida Southern Monday afternoon (March 9).
Florida Southern falls to 2-6 on the year with the loss.
The Timberwolves got off to a strong start in doubles, taking all of the matches to earn a 3-0 lead heading into singles. Northwood then won four of the six singles matches to clinch the win.
On the day, Salikh Gilmutdinov, Austin Woody and Konstantin Zhukov each went 2-0 to lead the way for Northwood.
The Timberwolves will face No. 9 Lynn Wednesday evening (March 11). First serve is set for 5 p.m.
