BOCA RATON, FLA. – The Northwood University men's tennis team suffered its first loss of the season Wednesday afternoon (March 11), falling to No. 9 Lynn 8-1.

Lynn improves to 9-2 on the year with the win. Northwood falls to 6-1.

The Fighting Knights came out strong in doubles, taking all of the matches to earn a 3-0 lead heading into singles. Lynn continued to play well in singles, winning the top five flights all in straight sets. NU did pick a win in the final match of the day, as Tanini Kader earned a 7-6, 6-4 win at No. 6 singles to close the match out.

The Timberwolves will take on third ranked Barry Thursday afternoon (March 12). First serve is set for 3 p.m.
