Men's Tennis Defeats Michigan Tech 9-0
MIDLAND, MICH. – The Northwood University men's tennis team picked up a 9-0 win over Michigan Tech Saturday (April 18).
Northwood is now 11-4 overall, 6-2 in the GLIAC. Michigan Tech falls to 2-12 overall, 1-7 in the GLIAC.
The Timberwolves won all of the double matches 8-3 to open up a 3-0 lead heading into singles. NU then swept singles, winning all six matches in straight sets.
On the day, Sebastian Equez, Salikh Gilmutdinov, Austin Woody, Konstantin Zhukov and Tanini Kader all went 2-0 for the Timberwolves.
Northwood will host Lake Superior State Sunday morning (April 19). First serve is set for 10 a.m.
