Men's Results

The Northwood University cross country teams competed at the 2013 Michigan Intercollegiate Championships at Hillsdale College Friday afternoon (October 11).

On the men's side, Northwood's young Timberwolves were led by sophomore Silas Dekalita (Clio, Mich./Clio) and senior Marcus Rogers (Howell, Mich./Pinckney). They clocked 26:30.76 and 26:47.84 respectively for a 4th and 5th place finish among non D-1 runners on the 8K course. Coach Jamie Moreno believes "Dekalita and Rogers continue to run well for us and gave us a great 1-2 punch in a very competitive meet today". He is extremely confident heading into the championship segment of the season.

Also scoring for Northwood, placing 33rd and running 28:45.56 was junior Mike Todd (Mt. Pleasant, Mich. / Mt. Pleasant), freshman Will Moench (Holland, Mich. / West Ottawa) was close behind placing 37th at 28:52.20 and sophomore Matt Dippel (Kentwood, Mich. / Kentwood) ran 29:03.25 to place 42nd out of 80 competitors in the men's race.

Northwood will compete in the GLIAC Championship in Houghton, Mich. on October 26.
