Hailey Leister Takes Home Her Second G-MAC POW Honors This Season

G-MAC ATHLETES OF THE WEEK

MIDLAND, MICH. - Hailey Leister was named pitcher of the week by the Great Midwest Athletic Conference (G-MAC) this week, Monday (March 6). This is her second time this season earning the award.

Leister pitched 13.1 IP, allowing just one earned run while striking out nine and walking two, and earning a save. Leister also pitched a complete game shutout of the defending National Champions, #1 Rogers St., in regulation in just 67 pitches.

Northwood softball is currently 9-6 on the season as they continue their spring break trip in Florida with games versus #8 Grand Valley St. and Ferris St. today (March 6).
