RECAP: Northwood softball split Saturday's (March 7) games in Bartow, Fla., falling 5-4 to Glenville State in a close battle before bouncing back with a 4-1 win over American International.

• Northwood jumped out first in the third inning when Ashley Ziel's RBI single brought home Brinley Eckerman for a 1-0 lead.
