Vier Earns Spot At USA Track & Field Indoor Championships

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. — Northwood Track & Field redshirt athlete Blake Vier will compete on the national stage this weekend after earning acceptance into the men's 60-meter hurdles at the USA Track & Field Indoor Championships.

The championships will be held at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex in Staten Island, N.Y. Vier secured his spot in the field with a qualifying time of 7.79 and has officially been declared for the event.

Vier is scheduled to open competition on Saturday, February 28, with the first round of the men's 60-meter hurdles set for 3:01 p.m. ET. A strong performance would advance him to the final, which is slated for 4:45 p.m. ET later that afternoon.

All championship events will be streamed live on USATF.tv, allowing fans to follow Vier's progress throughout the meet. Live results and the full event schedule will also be available through USA Track & Field's website at usatf.org/events/2026/2026-usatf-indoor-championships.
