Women's Basketball Promotes Autumn Haggadone To Associate Head Coach
MIDLAND, MICH. – Head Northwood University women's basketball coach Jeff Curtis as announced the promotion of Autumn Haggadone to Associate Head Coach.
"I'm very excited to promote Autumn into this new role," said Northwood Women's Basketball head coach Jeff Curtis. "She has done an outstanding job in her time at Northwood and I feel that she is a rising star in this profession."
Haggadone recently completed her fourth season as an assistant coach at Northwood. She helped lead the Timberwolves to its second NCAA Tournament appearance in school history in the 2020-21 season, when the Timberwolves finished third in the GLIAC. Northwood has made the GLIAC Tournament three times in the last four years. NU went from winning 10 games in a full season in 2019-20 to earning 11 victories in the shortened 2020-21 season.
Haggadone joined the Northwood staff after being an assistant coach at her alma mater, Albion College for two seasons. She was a part of a Briton team that went 18-8 overall and reached the Michigan Intercollegiate Athletic Association Tournament semifinals in 2016-17.
A four-year letterwinner and captain as a player for the Britons, Haggadone helped the team post 62 victories in her career. She graduated from Albion in 2012 with a degree in Physical Education.
