Women's Basketball Loses At Unbeaten Embry-Riddle 84-71

GAME STORY
- After Northwood connected on a 3-ponter on the first shot six seconds into the game, both teams struggled offensively. The score remained 3-0 until the 5:09 mark of the first.
- The Eagles used a 10-0 run later in the quarter to go up 13-6.
- Embry-Riddle eventually led 15-10 after one.
- ERU's lead grew to as many as eight (20-12) early in the second before Northwood responded. The Timberwolves scored 13 of the next 18 point to tie the score 25-25.
- NU's run eventually reached 25-7, which put Northwood on top 32-27.
- The Timberwolves held a 36-34 lead at the break.
- Northwood led 39-34 early in the third quarter when one of the key runs of the game got going for the Eagles. ERU scored 20 of the next 22 points to turn a five-point deficit into a 13-point lead at 54-41.
- The Timberwolves cut into the lead over the remainder of the quarter, trailing 59-51 heading to the fourth.
- It was a six-point game (68-62) with under five minutes remaining, but that is as close as the Timberwolves would get the rest of the way.
- The Eagles led by as many as 15 down the stretch before winning the game by 15.
