RECAP: Unbeaten Embry-Riddle takes control in the fourth quarter of an 84-71 win over Northwood Friday (November 29).

GAME STORY

After Northwood connected on a 3-ponter on the first shot six seconds into the game, both teams struggled offensively. The score remained 3-0 until the 5:09 mark of the first.
The Eagles used a 10-0 run later in the quarter to go up 13-6.
Embry-Riddle eventually led 15-10 after one.
ERU's lead grew to as many as eight (20-12) early in the second before Northwood responded. The Timberwolves scored 13 of the next 18 point to tie the score 25-25.
NU's run eventually reached 25-7, which put Northwood on top 32-27.
The Timberwolves held a 36-34 lead at the break.
Northwood led 39-34 early in the third quarter when one of the key runs of the game got going for the Eagles. ERU scored 20 of the next 22 points to turn a five-point deficit into a 13-point lead at 54-41.
The Timberwolves cut into the lead over the remainder of the quarter, trailing 59-51 heading to the fourth.
It was a six-point game (68-62) with under five minutes remaining, but that is as close as the Timberwolves would get the rest of the way.
The Eagles led by as many as 15 down the stretch before winning the game by 15.
