• After Northwood's game against Lake Erie Thursday saw the two teams combine for 173 points (NU 98, LE 75), the defenses controlled the evenly played opening quarter.
• Four points was the biggest lead for either squad, as the Saints held a 12-8 advantage after one.
• Both teams picked up their offensive play in the second - with the scored tied 16-16, Thomas More scored seven straight points to earn a 23-16 lead.
• Northwood cut into the lead down the stretch of the first half, making the score 32-29 at the break.
