GAME STORY

• The opening minutes of the game were evenly played. Five minutes into the game, Walsh led 7-4 after three lead changes.
• That would prove to be Walsh's last lead of the day, as the Timberwolves scored the next 10 points to take a 14-7 lead at the 2:03 mark.
• Northwood held a 16-12 lead after one quarter.
• The Cavaliers cut the lead to one twice in the second quarter, the last of which came with the score 20-19 with 6:08 remaining. That is when Northwood posted a 10-2 run to go up 30-21.
• The Timberwolves held a 31-24 lead at the break.
• NU led 37-31 early in the third when Northwood went on the key run of the game. Their advantage grew from six to 18 thanks to an 18-4 run to go up 53-35 with 2:27 left in the quarter.
• The Northwood advantage stood at 53-37 heading to the final quarter.
