Women's Basketball Clinches Home G-MAC Tournament Game With 72-58 Win At Lake Erie

GAME STORY
- Lake Erie was the better team at the start of the game. Leading 8-6, the Storm put up nine of the next 11 points to take a 17-8 lead.
- LEC made a layup in the final seconds of the first to take a 22-12 lead after one.
- The Storm pushed their lead to 12 early in the second (28-16) when Northwood made their first run of the game.
- Northwood posed a 15-3 to take their first lead of the day at 31-30 with 4:05 remaining in the second.
- Lake Erie responded down the stretch, putting up eight of the final 10 points to take a 38-33 lead at the break.
- The Timberwolves played better in the third quarter, taking their first lead of the second half at 47-46.
- NU eventually outscored the Storm 21-11 in the third to take a 54-49 lead to the final quarter.
- The Timberwolves scored the first nine points of the fourth to get the lead all the way up to 63-49.
- Lake Erie got no closer than 10 the rest of the way.
