GAME STORY
- Northwood started the game fast, scoring the first seven points of the game.
- Tiffin responded with nine of the next 11 points to tie the score 9-9.
- NU came right back with an 11-4 run to take a 20-13 lead.
- Northwood led by as many a nine before holding a 24-17 lead after one.
- The Timberwolves maintained the lead throughout the second, taking their biggest advantage of the half at 34-21 with 4:08 to go.
- The Dragons finished the second strong, going on a 7-1 run over the final 2:46 to cut the lead to 35-28 at the break.
- Northwood came out strong in the third quarter, scoring 12 of the first 15 points to take a 47-31 lead.
- Tiffin cut into the lead the remainder of the quarter, making the score 52-42 heading to the fourth.
- NU got the lead back up to 15 early in the fourth, only to see Tiffin get back within eight at 62-54 with 3:13 to go.
- That was as close as the Dragons would get in the fourth – Northwood led by as many as 16 before finishing off a 14-point victory.

NORTHWOOD NOTES
- St. John broke the school record for points in a season in the game, now standing with 514 this season. The old record of 501 was set by Jordyn Nurenberg, which was set in 2015-16. St. John also has broken the season records for free throws made in a season (148) and steals in a season (102).
- With her two blocked shots tonight, Holmes moved to second in school history for career blocked shots. She now has 119 for her two-year career, trailing only Kaitlin Susan, who had 125 blocks from 2011-15. Holmes also needs three blocked shots to hold two of the top five single-season block totals in school history.
- The Timberwolves' 22nd win is a new program record for victories in a season. The 2008-09 team won 21 games for the old record.
- Northwood extends school record for longest winning streak with their 12th straight win today. The 1990-91 team won 10 consecutive games.
- NU's 18 conference wins this season are the most in a season in program history. The 2023-24 team finished the year with 16 for the previous record.
- Northwood led for 39:13 in the game and never trailed.
